It’s not an article in the local news paper (Danny), but being profiled in CETPA‘s quarterly magazine DataBus was incredibly exciting for me since CETPA was the first EdTech organization I participated in when I made the switch over from the private sector seven years ago and I have been reading the DataBus regularly ever since. The Summer 2010 issue is all about Open Source in education, something I don’t think we would have seen just a few years ago. I’m honored to be playing a part, however small, in bringing Open Source in Education out into the light. You can read all about it in the latest edition of the DataBus here.
Danny and I will be speaking at the Annual CETPA Conference again this year. Our presentation, Small School Big Tech v2.0, is slotted for the Tuesday October 19th 4:00pm session. If you’re attending CETPA 2010, stop by and say hi. We’d love to see you. We’re also talking about our Google Apps migration on Tuesday at 2:30 in the From Exchange to Google Apps in 50 Minutes session, so if you’re interested in how we escaped from the clutches of Exchange, drop in for that one too. Mark your Calendars and add us to your conference schedules and we’ll see you there.
And we’re working on getting together for the next podcast. School started for us last week, so we have been, um, busy. We’ll get together soon to tell you all about it.
