Danny and Andrew remember how to do a Podcast. We’ve been back from Rock Star Tech Camp for a month and four weeks of school down already. Danny has moved his freshman Earth Science classes to a 1:1 instruction model and Andrew has been busy keeping the lab up and running. More fun with Ubermix and LTSP in the lab. Ofris, a deep freeze for linux.
We are live at #CUERockstar Rock Star Summer Tech Camp hosted by Minarets High School. Rockin’ the Ruckus Wireless during the day and crashing the hotel wireless at night. (Best not to try and build an LTSP Server in the hotel room the night before the presentation, Andrew…). Hold up your cell phones and sway to the background noise for this guest packed show:
In this episode: Andrew remembers that IWB’s come with integrated curriculum – duh! Jon Corippo is straight out of the pool and back for a third guest appearance to sum up ISTE10 in three words – “Interactive whiteboard glut”, Jon also recommends checking out the SP Controls Doceri A/V switch with iPad integration and the Vidifox WebCam with a touch screen interface, Danny is jealous of Jon’s Google Block Party experience and the great games Jon got to play to win swag (even though Danny would have just bought anything with a Google logo on it anyway), Danny forgets all about http://googletreks.org/ and Andrew and Danny cover some of their favorite tweets from the past week.
